Plain Jane offers up a variety of music ranging from some familiar classics of the sixties through eighties to modern rock of the nineties and the "oughts". Backed by a band with years of gigging experience, Elizabeth Browne-Homenick and Rob Mackoul perform the music of a wide variety of artists including Garbage, Janis Joplin, Alanis Morrisette, Chrissie Hynde, Grace Slick, the Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver, Aerosmith, Jet, Incubus, Lenny Kravitz, Stone Temple Pilots, Beatles, Jimmy Eat World, Black Crowes, Led Zeppelin and Blink 182.

Driven by Sean Farrell and Jay Stein on guitar, and backed by the rhythm section of bassist Rico Benson and drummer George Rose, Plain Jane entertains crowds in diverse venues such as Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut, Kennys Castaways in Greenwich Village, Gully's and Pineapple Larrys in Newburgh, The Porthole in Oceanside, Fagan's Ale House in Yonkers and Mahoney's Irish Pub in Poughkeepsie.

The members of Plain Jane are veterans of other popular area bands and draw on a substantial fan base spread across state and county lines in the New York metropolitan area.
